Friday Evening Shabbat Service
Join us every Friday evening at 7:00 PM as we welcome Shabbat with music, prayer, warmth, and community.
Our Friday night services at SOJC are warm, soulful, and spiritually uplifting -- blending meaningful prayer, beautiful music, and an atmosphere that feels both sacred and welcoming.
Led by Rabbi Shai, along with congregational participation and music, the service invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and step out of the noise of the week and into the peace of Shabbat.
You'll often find B'nai Mitzvah students helping lead prayers, congregants sharing reflections, and the community singing together with joy and heart.
Whether you are deeply rooted in Jewish tradition, or simply searching for connection, inspiration, and community, there is a place for you here.
After services, stay for Oneg Shabbat, conversation, and connection with friends,
old and new.
Saturday Morning Shabbat Service
Shabbat Morning at SOJC is more than a service - it's a soulful community experience filled with prayer, music, learning, laughter, and connection.
Join us every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM for a warm, uplifting, and spiritually alive Shabbat experience led by Rabbi Shai and Cantorial Soloist Ginny Kolin.
After services, stay for Kiddush brunch, conversation, connection, and community. Come for prayer, stay for connection.
Be a part of the service
SOJC is a warm, egalitarian community where participation is encouraged and celebrated. Jewish adults of all genders who are called to the Torah or lead part of the service are invited to wear a Tallit as part of honoring the sacredness of the moment.
